Use Tyto by email

Some of your team will never open Tyto. That's fine. Email them like you always have — and put your Tyto address in the cc. We'll do the rest.

Find your team's Tyto email

Open Settings → Email. It's in the top-right menu of the app.
Copy the address. It looks like your-team.abc123@in.tyto.me. Pin it somewhere — your contacts, an alias, wherever you can grab it fast.
Send a test. Email a colleague, cc the Tyto address, write a normal message. Open Tyto. The thread is now a task.

What happens to the email

New thread, Tyto in the cc → a new task is created. Subject becomes the title; body becomes the description. Senders and recipients become followers.
Reply on the same thread → the reply lands as activity on the task. No new task is created.
Attachments → uploaded to the task automatically. PDFs, images, the lot.
@mention in the body → if you write @firstname and we recognise a teammate, they become the assignee.

Which team members can write to Tyto by email

Only addresses you've explicitly allowed under Settings → Email. We don't accept arbitrary mail from the internet — every sender has to match someone you've authorised. Guests can be cc'd on threads and stay in the loop without ever getting a Tyto account.

Disconnecting

Stop using the address. Nothing else to do — Tyto won't create tasks if no one is emailing the address. To formally turn it off, remove the address from your authorised list.
