Filter and find
Updated 18 May 2026
How to narrow a project down to the tasks you actually want to see.
Filter
In any project, the Filter menu lets you stack constraints. Seven types, all composable:
- Folder — tasks under a specific parent / section
- Owner — who created the task
- Priority — low / normal / high / urgent
- Search — match by title or tag
- Selected — only currently selected tasks
- Tags — labels you've added to tasks
- Workflow — current workflow stage
Stack them: "owner = me + workflow = doing + priority = high" filters to the three things that should keep you up at night. The board, outline, and timeline all respect the filter while it's active.
Search
Today's search hits task titles and tags only. Type into the search box at the top of the project (or in the filter menu) and the list narrows in real time.
Full-text search of descriptions and comments isn't built yet — when you need to find a specific phrase in a long comment thread, the fastest move today is to ask whoever wrote it.
Cross-project lookup
A global jump-to that searches across every project at once is on the roadmap. Today's filter scope is the project you're inside.
