The daily summary email
Updated 18 May 2026
Open your phone in the morning. Before the laptop. One email tells you what's due today, what's coming up, and what slipped overnight. You decide your morning, you don't react to it.
When it arrives
5 AM in your timezone. Hard-coded by design so the email is reliably the first work thing in your inbox when you wake up. A configurable time is on the roadmap if there's enough interest.
What's in it
A scannable summary of your task activity — plain text, no images, no styling games. The point is the read, not the design.
Turning it off
Under Settings → Notifications. If the morning email isn't useful — you'd rather just open Tyto — switch it off.
Next up
Workflows — when a single status change isn't enough.
